The A4Tech FG12S Panda is a quiet, budget wireless mouse with a two-tone white-and-black shell, for students and home users who want something less plain than black.
The Panda finish is the reason to pick this one: a white top over a black base, so it stands out on a desk mat and goes well with black-and-white keyboards. Under the shell it is a simple 3-button mouse with a fixed 1200 DPI sensor. That is enough for browsing, Word and online classes on a 1080p screen. The wheel is wider than usual, which feels more comfortable when scrolling long pages. Silent switches keep clicks soft. A4Tech rates one AA cell at up to 12 months, helped by an auto-sleep mode.
There’s no DPI button, so if you use a large or 4K monitor, the FG10S or FG16S will cross the screen faster.
