A4Tech PK-635G Anti-glare 480p Webcam with Microphone

The A4Tech PK-635G is a basic 480p USB webcam with a built-in mic and anti-glare lens, for simple video calls and online classes on desktop PCs that have no camera.

To be clear about what it is: the PK-635G records at 640 x 480 pixels, not HD, so it suits WhatsApp desktop, Skype and classroom calls where a small video window is enough. In return it is easy to live with. A flexible pivoting tube lets you aim it and rotate it fully, and the silver-and-black finish sits neatly on a monitor. The coated lens cuts reflections from tube lights and windows, and A4Tech rates its low-light performance well. It works as a standard UVC camera, so Windows, Mac, Linux, ChromeOS and Android detect it without a driver. Fixed focus is set for 60 cm and beyond, roughly the distance to a desktop screen.
