The A4Tech FH300U Neon Illuminate in Black is a USB gaming-style headset with glowing lights and big 50 mm drivers, for PC players who want a dark setup with a splash of colour.
Black lets the FH300U’s 7-colour breathing light take centre stage: the glow stands out most against a dark desk, a black keyboard and an RGB mouse. A4Tech lists no lighting software, so the colour cycle runs on its own. Sound goes through USB to a DSP stereo chip, so it does not depend on the motherboard’s headphone jack. Its 50 mm speakers are the biggest of the A4Tech headsets we stock, and over-ear leatherette pads block some of the noise in a busy house. A metal band inside the headband resists bending when it is pulled on and off every day. It needs USB for both sound and lights, so it will not work from a phone’s 3.5 mm jack.
