The A4Tech FG16S in black is the newest silent mouse in A4Tech’s FG range, for office users who want adjustable speed and a wide, comfortable scroll wheel.
Think of it as the FG12S with a DPI button added. You keep the wider scroll wheel and quiet switches, and gain a fourth button that steps through 1200, 1600 and 2000 DPI. That is handy when you move between a laptop screen and a larger external monitor. A4Tech rates the switches for 5 million clicks and the AA cell for up to 12 months, and an on/off switch helps when it goes in a bag. Eight gesture commands can be set up through A4Tech’s software. The plain black shell suits an office desk and doesn’t show marks.
There is no Bluetooth or side buttons, and at 125 Hz it is an office mouse, not a gaming one.
