The A4Tech DST-80C Docking Station is the fullest of A4Tech’s USB-C docks, built for office laptops that need wired internet, a monitor, memory cards and charging from one plug.
Many thin laptops have no Ethernet socket, yet office and fibre connections work best on a cable. The DST-80C adds that LAN port, plus HDMI, one USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 port, an extra USB-C data port, and SD and microSD slots. Plug your charger into the PD port (up to 100 W in) and one cable to the laptop handles everything. It makes a tidy setup for a hot-desk or home office.
The trade-off is HDMI at 4K 30 Hz: perfectly fine at 1080p, less smooth on a 4K monitor. Your laptop’s USB-C port must also support video output.
