The A4Tech HU-8 is a lightweight USB stereo headset with a DSP sound chip and rotatable mic, for PC and laptop users who want clean, consistent audio for classes and calls.
The HU-8 is the USB partner of the HS-8i. It keeps the same light frame, leather ear pads and 40 mm speakers, but swaps the 3.5 mm plug for USB with a DSP (digital signal processing) chip that A4Tech says reduces unwanted background noise. That makes it a sensible choice for older desktops whose audio ports crackle, or for an office where every PC should sound the same. The omni-directional boom mic rotates up when you are only listening, and volume is set with a knob on the earcup. The 2 m cable gives room to move. Because it is USB only, it will not plug into phones or most game controllers; for those, choose the HS-8i.
