The Lexar NM620 M.2 2280 NVMe SSD 512GB is a fast PCIe Gen3 x4 drive for laptops and desktops with an NVMe M.2 slot.
It is several times faster than a 2.5-inch SATA SSD, so it makes a big difference when moving off a hard drive or older SSD. Before ordering, check your slot. This drive needs an M.2 2280 slot that supports NVMe (PCIe). It will not work in an older M.2 slot that only supports SATA, and it cannot go into a 2.5-inch drive bay. In a PCIe Gen4 slot it works at Gen3 speed. Your laptop manual or our WhatsApp team can confirm the slot type.
