A4TECH HS-30 ComfortFit Stereo Headset

The A4Tech HS-30 ComfortFit is a simple 3.5 mm on-ear headset with a noise-cancelling mic, for home PCs, online classes and call work on a tight budget.

The HS-30 is the analogue version of A4Tech’s ComfortFit design; the HU-35 shares its speaker specs but plugs into USB. With 102 dB sensitivity and 50 mW RMS, it gets loud enough from an ordinary sound card or laptop jack. The microphone is omni-directional with noise cancelling, so your voice comes through while some of the background hiss is cut. A volume knob sits on the headset itself, and the 2 m cable reaches a desktop under the table. The on-ear pads are light for short and medium sessions; anyone wearing a headset all day may prefer an over-ear model. It needs a 3.5 mm audio connection, with no USB or Bluetooth.
