The A4Tech HU-35 ComfortFit is a USB on-ear headset with a single-directional mic, built for office calls, call centres and online teaching on Windows PCs and Macs.
USB makes the HU-35 a good fix for desktops with a dead or crackling front audio jack, because the computer sees it as its own audio device. The single-directional microphone favours the voice in front of it, and A4Tech says it reduces background noise, a real help in a shared office or a home with children. Sensitivity is 102 dB with 50 mW RMS, higher than the HU-7P’s 97 dB. Volume is set with a knob on the headset. It is an on-ear design with a light adjustable headband, better suited to daily calls than full-day wear. If you need the same headset on a 3.5 mm jack, the HS-30 is its analogue twin.
