The A4Tech PK-810G is an entry-level black USB webcam with a microphone and anti-glare lens, for families and offices that need a camera for everyday calls on a budget.
The PK-810G shares its 640 x 480 resolution, 52-degree lens and 30 fps output with the silver PK-635G; the difference is mainly the all-black body, which blends into a black monitor bezel. Real resolution is 480p, so expect faces that are clear in a small call window rather than sharp full-screen video. The anti-glare coating reduces reflections from overhead lights, and A4Tech’s intelligent multisampling is meant to keep motion free of lag. The built-in mic picks up sound from any direction, which helps when two people share one call, though a headset will always sound cleaner. Through UVC it is plug and play on Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS and Android. Fixed focus starts at 60 cm.
